The 2021 College Language Association Convention hosted by The University of Memphis will be virtually reimagined via the EventXtra platform. The Afrofuturism: Diasporic Visions theme provides engaging opportunities for members to present their research, engage in live Q&A sessions with panelists, network, and converse throughout the event.
Your registration provides you with full access to the virtual convention and video-conferencing platform as well as a specially curated Virtual Convention Swag Box that celebrates our founding city of Memphis, our host institution, The University of Memphis, and our first ever CLA virtual convention. The Virtual Convention Swag Box is produced by The 901 Box, a Black-owned Memphis business that seeks to transport box recipients to Memphis by providing a way to taste, touch, hear, smell, and see a little bit of Memphis by experiencing products from Black Memphis entrepreneurs. Your 901 Box will be mailed to the address that you provide when you update the profile associated with your new website account. If you have not registered for the convention, we invite you to register today for this new virtually reimagined experience.
Register by March 5th for your 901 Swag Box!
